What the day will look like
As a People Matters Manager, you will lead a team of Senior Specialists who provide high-quality, consistent employee relations support across a broad range of colleague and manager inquiries. Your day may include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Senior Specialists to deliver excellent, consistent employee relations support
- Overseeing workload management, quality, and adherence to SLAs and service standards across the team
- Providing strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with global standards and local employment regulations
- Partnering with Legal, Compliance, People Partners, and business leaders on investigations, performance matters, workplace issues, and organizational change activities
- Monitoring case trends, service metrics, and employee relations data to identify emerging risks and drive proactive solutions
- Ensuring timely escalation and governance of high-risk or sensitive cases, maintaining accurate documentation and controls
- Using analytics and insights to improve processes, enhance colleague experience, and inform workforce and employee relations strategies

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Significant experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field, with proven experience leading or managing a team in a complex or matrixed organization
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, employment regulations, and HR policies, with the ability to balance global standards and local requirements
- Demonstrated ability to oversee case management at scale, including workload prioritization, quality assurance, and adherence to SLAs
- Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Comfort working with data and analytics to identify trends, assess risk, and drive continuous improvement in employee relations and service delivery
