Job summary

ElevenLabs is hiring for a payments-focused backend engineer to help manage pricing, usage tracking, and billing across self-serve and enterprise channels. You will build scalable systems, support migrations, and work closely with Finance and Growth to enable experimentation and revenue growth.

We offer remote work with teams across the UK, EU and US and offices in Dublin, London, New York, San Francisco and Warsaw. Strong emphasis on AI-first culture and high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python and strong backend development.
• Experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure, storage, and data structures.
• Solid understanding of testing and security fundamentals.
• Careful handling of live systems that deal with money.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the payments platform to ensure billing accuracy and reliability.
• Lead migrations of enterprise pricing and usage processing with new services.
• Make it easy for customers to upgrade and pay across different entities.
• Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams for compliance and reporting.
• Enable pricing experiments with Growth and product teams.
• Debug complex billing scenarios by tracing customer journeys and logs.
