Job summary

Planet is seeking an Installations Support Specialist to configure, install, and support Planet's payment and commerce solutions for merchants across multiple markets. You will work with customers, partners, sales, project managers, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful deployments and a superior onboarding experience.

This role suits a technically minded professional who enjoys problem solving, rapid learning, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced payments and hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience with payments, POS systems, or hospitality tech.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve issues.
• Excellent communication with merchants, partners and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enable, and deploy Planet payment and commerce solutions.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot interfaces for PMS/POS platforms.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing with third-party systems.
• Conduct remote and on-site installations and validations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Monitor progress and maintain records in internal systems.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and stakeholders.
