Planet seeks a Payment Installations Specialist to enable, configure, and support Planet products for merchants, ensuring seamless delivery, technical accuracy, and outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the integrated payments ecosystem required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and strong team player attitude.
• Experience in payments, POS, or Tax Free solutions is a strong advantage.
• Technical mindset with a focus on customer experience.
• Flexibility to switch priorities while maintaining high service levels.
• Professional communication skills when engaging with merchants.

Responsibilities

• Fully enable and configure all Planet products and solutions (card present and e-comm products).
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate Planet solutions both remotely and on-site.
• Liaise with merchants and internal departments to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to the correct build specifications.
• Ensure all solutions are configured according to required standards and compliance guidelines.
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information throughout the installation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review contracts and ensure correct configurations and billing models.
• Provide internal and external technical advice and guidance on Planet solutions.
• Follow up on installations, analyze outcomes, and report on solution status.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible service and customer experience.
• Adapt to new tasks and challenges with a proactive and open mindset.
• Follow communication procedures, internal guidelines, and company policies.
• Communicate confidently and professionally when addressing merchant questions or concerns.
