Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a P2P Analyst Accounts Payable to support German-speaking markets (Austria, Switzerland) from Łódź. Hybrid work—3 days in the office—requires meticulous AP handling, transition experience, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in P2P AP, a Finance/Accounting degree, and proficiency in English and German. SAP/MS Office skills and a track record in SSC settings are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years relevant work experience in P2P AP.
• Education degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
• Transition experience would be an asset.
• Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP tools.
• Fluent English and German (min. B level).
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or outsourcing is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify invoices for compliance with policies.
• Process invoices within service levels and KPIs per SOPs.
• Execute AP and Travel & Expense processes ensuring KPI adherence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve queries.
• Prepare standard analytical reports and accounting schedules.
• Identify recurring issues and propose efficiency improvements.
• Support transition and creation of SOPs.
• Resolve issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
