Job summary

Ramboll in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking an experienced Overhead Line Designer to contribute to major European infrastructure projects and the green transition. You’ll lead design tasks, develop our Overhead Lines services, and collaborate with international engineers and clients to deliver safe, scalable solutions.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in electrical engineering, expert knowledge of overhead lines, and proficiency in PLS-CADD and QGIS.

PhD or MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Expert knowledge of Overhead Lines.
Knowledge of PLS-CADD and QGIS.

Responsibilities

Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for Overhead Lines up to 420 kV.
Preparation of necessary calculations (e.g. sag & tension, loads, earthing, lightning protection, etc.).
Preparation of necessary Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
Preparation of the Building Design (including obtaining the Building Permit) and Detailed Design.
Driving multidisciplinary cooperation and coordination.
Driving technical reviews and agreements with Clients and Suppliers.
Deliver consulting services and advice to our Clients and Customers.
