Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Overhead Line Designer in Gdynia to join our Power Systems Department on major European infrastructure projects. You will develop our overhead lines services and drive high-quality solutions for diverse clients.

You will manage multidisciplinary coordination, deliver engineering documentation up to 420 kV, and support green energy transition. A PhD or MSc in electrical engineering and hands-on PLS-CADD/QGIS skills are required.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge on Overhead Lines.
• Knowledge (PLS-CADD, QGIS).
• Strong stakeholder management and networking skills.
• Willing to take responsibility for our scope with clients.
• Desire to contribute to the green energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for Overhead Lines up to 420 kV.
• Preparation of necessary calculations (e.g. sag & tension, loads, earthing, lightning protection, etc.).
• Preparation of necessary Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
• Preparation of the Building Design (including obtaining the Building Permit) and Detailed Design.
• Driving multidisciplinary cooperation and coordination.
• Driving technical reviews and agreements with Clients and Suppliers.
• Deliver consulting services and advice to our Clients and Customers.
