Job summary

Ramboll is looking for an experienced Overhead Line Designer in Kraków to join our Power Systems Department. You will tackle a wide range of tasks on major European infrastructure projects and help raise our overhead lines services to new technical levels.

Qualifications include a PhD or MSc in electrical engineering, expert knowledge of Overhead Lines, and proficiency with PLS-CADD and QGIS. You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions and

Qualifications

Holds a PhD or MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Expert knowledge on Overhead Lines.
Knowledge of PLS-CADD and QGIS.
Thrives in stakeholder management and network building.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering specifications and technical documentation for Overhead Lines up to 420 kV.
Prepare calculations (sag & tension, loads, earthing, lightning protection).
Prepare BOM and BOQ.
Prepare Building Design and Detailed Design, obtain Building Permits.
Drive multidisciplinary cooperation and coordinate with clients and suppliers.
Deliver consulting services and advice to clients and customers.
