Job summary

Qualifications

• DEA license or designation where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations; order tests as needed.
• Collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on disease management and treatment options.
• Participate in rounds and coordinate with nurses and other staff.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate and ensure continuity of care.
