Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is looking for an Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance data workflows and ETL/ELT pipelines used across global Financial Markets.

You will work with Oracle-based data solutions and implement scalable data processing pipelines in an Agile setup. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in Oracle and SQL, along with problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and solution design skills.
• Experience with triggers, views, materialized views, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of transaction management, locking, and optimization.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integration processes
• Develop robust Oracle-based data solutions powering transactional and near real‑time systems
• Implement high-performance, secure, and scalable data processing pipelines
• Build automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks for data workflows
• Collaborate with global teams in an Agile setup, driving continuous improvement

What you bring

Core expertise

• Strong Oracle / SQL (5+ years)
• Advanced PL/SQL development: stored procedures, packages, functions
• Experience with triggers, views, materialized views, and performance tuning
• Understanding of transaction management, locking, and optimization
• Experience building database‑centric middleware / data integration layers
• Python & shell scripting (5+ years) for automation and data processing
• Experience with near real‑time or transactional systems
• Strong problem‑solving and solution design skills
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus)
• Experience working in banking (5+ years), ideally Financial Markets
• Knowledge of Exchange Listed products (Equities, Commodities)
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum
