Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is seeking an experienced data engineering professional to design, build, and maintain data workflows and Oracle-based data solutions powering transactional and near real‑time systems. You will implement high‑performance pipelines, develop automation, and collaborate across global teams in an Agile setup.

The role requires strong Oracle/SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and data integration skills, with a banking/financial markets background and knowledge of Exchange Listed products.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle / SQL expertise with 5+ years
• Advanced PL/SQL development (stored procedures, packages, functions)
• Experience with triggers, views, materialized views and tuning
• Understanding of transaction management, locking and optimization
• Experience building middleware / data integration layers
• Python and shell scripting (5+ years) for automation and data processing
• Experience with near real-time or transactional systems
• Strong problem-solving and solution design skills
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps a plus)
• Experience in banking / Financial Markets domain
• Knowledge of Exchange Listed products (Equities, Commodities)
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines and integration processes
• Develop robust Oracle-based data solutions powering transactional and near real-time systems
• Implement high-performance, secure, and scalable data processing pipelines
• Build automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks for data workflows
• Collaborate with global teams in an Agile setup, driving continuous improvement
