Job summary

Saur Services (Glasgow) Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize water, wastewater, and organic waste treatment processes across the full project lifecycle. You will deliver reliable, compliant, and sustainable process solutions using digital engineering tools and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical/environmental/process engineering and 3–8 years of relevant experience; experience with AutoCAD P&ID

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, environmental or process engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in process engineering for water, wastewater, or related utilities.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and process safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems with mass balances, PFDs, and P&ID.
• Define design criteria and select suitable technologies (clarification, filtration, RO, etc.).
• Write functional descriptions and perform necessary hydraulic calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables meet technical and financial objectives.
