Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a results-driven ODI Architect in Poland with deep expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Teradata. You will lead architecture and design of scalable data integration solutions, define standards, and provide technical leadership in a SAFe Agile team.

Location: Poland, Remote. You will collaborate with product owners and data stakeholders, drive data quality and governance, and mentor ETL developers to deliver incremental value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in ETL development and solution architecture using ODI.
• Strong expertise in Teradata including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting (Shell, Python).
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
• Working knowledge of GDPR

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture for ETL and data integration solutions using ODI.
• Design data models and optimize complex SQL queries in Teradata for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with product owners, data architects, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust technical designs and deliver value incrementally.
• Participate in PI Planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as part of the SAFe Agile framework.
• Establish reusable frameworks and best practices, and ensure data quality, lineage, security, and governance across all data integration processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL performance and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ETL developers, review designs and code for quality and performance, and maintain architecture documentation to drive knowledge sharing within the team.
