Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Poland seeks a quantitative professional to develop and maintain actuarial reserving and analysis tools. You will analyze data to ensure accuracy of financial statements and support quarterly close and forecast processes.

The role requires strong English, a math/economics background, and advanced MS Office skills. Willingness to travel internationally and work in an international setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Economics or a comparable quantitative field.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills with structured, logical thinking and high attention to detail.
• High ability to understand technical and functional dependencies.
• Open-minded, proactive and well organized, with problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to develop further.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in an international environment.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining actuarial reserving and analysis tools.
• Analyzing data and results to ensure the quality of financial statements.
• Supporting the central team during quarterly closing and forecast processes.
• Monitoring and reporting on reserving KPIs to senior actuaries and stakeholders.
• Participating in knowledge transfer and deriving analyses approaches.
• Preparing actuarial data and developing automation scripts when needed.
