Job summary

TeamQuest, a leading Polish IT consulting company, seeks a Network Architecture Expert to design enterprise-class network and data center solutions for major clients. You will translate business needs into comprehensive architectures and lead presales technical engagements.

You will work with vendors and project teams to deliver HA/DR-ready architectures for on‑prem and hybrid environments, across multiple Polish locations, and engage in client workshops and solution demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing network solutions.
• Experience at an IT integrator, vendor, or large enterprise environment.
• Very good knowledge of Data Center, Campus and WAN architectures.
• Experience with HA and DR solutions and network automation.
• Strong knowledge of routing, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, Spine-Leaf, SD-WAN and QoS.
• OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, Ansible, Python and REST API familiarity.
• Broad knowledge of data center solutions, storage area networks and Ethernet fabric.
• Ability to discuss technical topics with clients at architect/management levels.
• Certifications in networking or data center technologies are a plus.
• Fluent English for collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design network solutions architecture and cybersecurity for enterprise clients.
• Participate in presales and provide technical consulting.
• Support sales during bidding as a solutions architect.

• Prepare concepts, reference architectures and high/low level designs.
• Create technical proposals and respond to RFP/RFQ inquiries.
• Conduct technical workshops, presentations and demonstrations.
• Select technologies and vendors per client requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and project teams on complex solutions.
• Support implementation teams, diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to migration and transformation projects for on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Build long-term client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
• Pursue trainings, certifications, and stay updated on market trends.

Network Architecture Expert

location: Warszawa, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznań

Key Duties

• Designing network solutions architecture, Data Center and cybersecurity for Enterprise-class clients.
• Participating in presales processes and providing technical consulting.
• Supporting the sales department during bidding as a solutions architect.
• Analyzing business needs and translating them into technical architecture.
• Preparing concepts, reference architectures and HLD and LLD documentation.
• Preparing technical proposals and responses to RFP and RFQ inquiries.
• Conducting technical workshops, presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Selecting technologies and vendors according to client requirements.
• Collaborating with vendors and project teams in creating complex solutions.
• Supporting implementation teams, diagnosing and troubleshooting failures.
• Participating in migration and transformation projects covering on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Building long-term relationships with clients as a trusted technical advisor.
• Participating in trainings, maintaining technical certifications and tracking market developments.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing network solutions.
• Experience gained at an IT integrator, vendor, or in large Enterprise environments.
• Very good knowledge of Data Center, Campus and WAN architectures.
• Experience in designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of routing, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN, Segment Routing, Spine-Leaf, SD-WAN, QoS, Multicast, IPv6 and network automation.
• Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, Ansible, Python and REST API.
• Knowledge of Data Center solutions, network virtualization, Storage Area Network and Ethernet Fabric.
• Ability to conduct technical discussions with clients at the architect and management levels.
• Very good knowledge across a wide range of IT infrastructure solutions, confirmed by certifications, references or technical interview.
• Expert knowledge of at least one technology and very good knowledge of a second technology from the Cisco, Fortinet, HPE, or Dell sectors.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, hardware platforms, virtualization and IT security.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and to conduct consultations and workshops.
• Good command of English enabling cooperation with global technical support teams.

Good To Have Skills

• Knowledge of network virtualization and SAN networks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, including NGFW, IPS/IDS, NAC, ZTNA, microsegmentation, SASE, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, PKI, VPN, DDoS protection, and DNS security.
• Experience as an architect or in sales support for IT services for large enterprises.
• Experience in telecommunications, financial, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Basic knowledge of public cloud services.
• Technical certifications in networking, security, Data Center infrastructure, or virtualization.
