Job summary

Grid is seeking a Land Rights Project Manager for a contract role across the UK with a hybrid working model. You will oversee land acquisition, community negotiations, and coordinate a team of land rights specialists.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in complex land projects, and professional qualifications such as RICS. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver infrastructure milestones.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing large-scale, complex land projects.
• Proven ability to guide and support within a team setting.
• Strong communication skills, capable of handling conflict and advising team members.
• Excellent project management skills with a keen understanding of land rights and acquisitions.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS) and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Guide a diverse team of land rights specialists from inception to completion.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to team members.
• Lead surveyors and land officers for major infrastructure builds.
• Attend and present at Public Inquiries, CPO, and Land Tribunal cases as needed.
• Report progress, milestones, risks, and financial matters to stakeholders.
