Job Description

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Land Rights Project Manager for a contract role based across the UK, with a hybrid working model. This position is key to supporting the UK's ambition to achieve a net zero carbon footprint by 2050, specifically focusing on the development and delivery of new infrastructure projects within the Land, Planning, and External Affairs department. Key Responsibilities: Guide a diverse team of land rights specialists, overseeing projects from inception to completion, including land acquisition and community negotiations Provide expert advice and technical support to team members Lead a team of surveyors and land officers for major new infrastructure builds Act as an expert witness in Public Inquiries, Compulsory Purchase, and Land Tribunal cases Implement Grid's Land Rights Strategy consistently and economically Report on project progress, key milestones, risks, and financial matters to stakeholders Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate complex ideas Support the Head of ETNI/SINI Land Teams in project delivery Provide technical advice to Grid's Land Team and the broader project team Liaise with stakeholders, external suppliers, and third parties to achieve project objectives Attend relevant meetings and forums as required.
