Job summary

Sii Poland is looking for an experienced back-end developer to join a team supporting retail banking processes for one of Poland's largest banks. You will work on Microsoft-based IT systems, collaborating with business users and IT teams, and participate in Scrum activities.

The role emphasizes high code quality with automated, unit, and E2E tests, thorough technical documentation, and ongoing DevOps practices. Office presence is expected at least every two weeks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend development using C# and MS SQL
• Experience with .NET Framework and Web API
• Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• Testing: unit, automated, and E2E tests
• Good command of English
• Willingness to work from the office at least once every two weeks
• Very good knowledge of Polish

The team creates web-based systems and tools that assist in the daily work of ecosystem employees, automate processes, and serve as a source of integration for other banking systems.

Your tasks

• Leading project and implementation work in IT systems based on Microsoft technologies
• Collaboration with business users (in gathering and analyzing requirements for new solutions) and with other IT teams, including DevOps and QA
• Active participation in Scrum team activities
• Ensuring high code quality by creating automated, unit, and E2E tests
• Creating and updating technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in creating and developing back-end modules in C# with MS SQL
• Knowledge of .NET 4.8/6/8, Entity Framework, Web API
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Experience in writing unit, automated, and E2E tests
• Good knowledge of English
• Willingness to work from the office at least once every two weeks
• Very good knowledge of Polish is required
