Job summary

Damen Engineering Gdańsk is seeking a skilled engineer to design and support shipbuilding projects across several disciplines. You will perform design calculations, produce technical documentation, and coordinate with teams, suppliers, and classification societies.

The role requires at least 2 years in ship/offshore systems, proficiency with CAD/CAE tools and MS Project, and fluent English with Polish proficiency. Hybrid work options and international projects are offered.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education, preferably in shipbuilding or marine engineering.
• At least 2 years of ship/offshore systems experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and MS Project.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
• Good English (B2) and Polish (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design and support shipbuilding projects across multiple disciplines.
• Prepare design calculations: mass, power, stability, and structures.
• Create technical documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and classification societies.
• Develop 3D models of floating units where applicable.
