Zusammenfassung

Damen Engineering Gdańsk is seeking an engineer who sees the vessel as a whole and can design and support shipbuilding projects across multiple disciplines. You will create technical documentation, perform design calculations, and help ensure compliance with classification rules and client requirements.

With at least 2 years in ship/offshore systems, CAD/CAE proficiency, and strong English (Polish at least C1), you will join an international team working on complex vessels and offshore

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ship/offshore systems projects.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and MS Project.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Good command of English (B2) and Polish at C1 is a must.

Aufgaben

• Designing at least one discipline: structural, mechanical, electrical, automation, radio-navigation systems, onboard equipment, interiors of vessels.
• Creating design solutions with moderate complexity across engineering fields.
• Ensuring compliance with classification rules, standards, and client requirements.
• Participating in interdisciplinary engineering problem solving and optimizing solutions for cost, functionality, safety, and compliance.
• Coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and classification societies.
• Preparing and participating in tests (FAT, HAT, SAT).
• Developing lists, registers, and technical reports; creating supervising 3D models of floating units if applicable.
