Job summary

Damen Engineering Gdańsk seeks an Engineer to design and support shipbuilding projects across multiple engineering disciplines. You will develop technical documentation, perform design calculations, and ensure compliance with classification rules and client requirements.

Collaboration with project teams and suppliers is essential. Experience in ship/offshore systems, CAD/CAE tools, and MS Project is required, with English at B2 and Polish at C1.

Qualifications

Requires a higher technical education with a maritime/engineering focus.
Min. 2 years of ship/offshore systems project experience.
Proficient in CAD/CAE and MS Project.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
English (B2) and Polish (C1) required.

Responsibilities

Designs and supports shipbuilding projects across multiple disciplines.
Creates technical documentation and design calculations.
Ensures compliance with classification rules and client requirements.
Coordinates with project teams, suppliers and classification societies.
Develops 3D models of floating units when applicable.
