Job summary

Experis Manpower Group in Warsaw is seeking a Middleware Engineer for an application migration within a large data center migration program. You will support payment card processing and issuer/acquirer workflows, operating in a three‑tier architecture and maintaining a heavy middleware layer during migration.

You will collaborate with the FTS Application & Middleware Team on BAU tasks, work with project managers on build, test and migration activities, diagnose issues, monitor performance, and

Qualifications

• Experience with application migrations and an understanding of data center migration challenges.
• Knowledge of BMC Control‑M.
• Knowledge of Oracle APEX.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator 12c.
• Knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory 11g/12c.
• Knowledge of Oracle Forms 11g/12c.
• Knowledge of Oracle Reports 11g/12c.
• Knowledge of Oracle Rest Data Service (ORDS).
• Knowledge of Oracle Service Bus 11g/12c.
• Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic 11g/12c.
• Strong PL/SQL skills.
• Scripting in Perl / PowerShell / Shell / Bash / Python.
• Experience with Rundeck / Ansible.
• Excellent communication in Polish and English.
• Ability to work with SMEs across countries and present technical scope clearly.
• Understanding of availability, performance, monitoring and resilience for semi-real-time systems.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, load balancing and TLS.
• High responsibility and commitment to quality.
• Ability to share knowledge and build positive relationships in a corporate environment.
• Ability to comply with office/remote policy (5 days in the office).

Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Middleware Engineer for an application migration initiative within a large data center migration program.
• Support applications serving payment card acceptance / acquiring and issuer processor business processes.
• Work within a three‑tier architecture environment and support an extensive Middleware layer critical for service migration.
• Collaborate closely with the FTS Application & Middleware Team to execute BAU tasks.
• Work closely with Project Managers to drive build, testing and migration activities.
• Prepare infrastructure build, configuration or access requests and remove blockers.
• Diagnose and solve technical issues.
• Monitor environments for performance and reliability.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality live documentation in Confluence.

Tasks

Tasks: Perform the role of Middleware Engineer for an application migration initiative within a large data center migration program Support applications serving payment card acceptance / acquiring and issuer processor business processes Work within a three‑tier architecture environment and support an extensive Middleware layer critical for service migration Collaborate closely with the FTS Application & Middleware Team to execute BAU tasks Work closely with Project Managers to drive build, testing and migration activities, including preparing and placing infrastructure build, configuration or access requests and removing blockers Diagnose and solve technical issues Monitor environments for performance and reliability Produce and maintain high‑quality live documentation in Confluence
