Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a Java-focused software engineer to design, develop, and evolve cloud-based security solutions for business-critical applications. You will collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality software using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security in containerized cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java, SQL, Spring framework and enterprise application development.
• Interest in security technologies and mechanisms within modern cloud environments.
• Knowledge of concepts related to confidential computing, confidential cloud solutions, cryptography, and key management services (KMS).
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and an interest in applying agentic AI concepts in security-focused environments.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using object-oriented programming principles and clean coding practices.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, ArgoCD), and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, or PagerDuty.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and ownership of technical solutions.
