We are seeking a software developer with strong Ruby experience for a hybrid, full-time role in Łódź, Poland. You will contribute to scalable solutions, participate in the complete SDLC, and collaborate through Scrum ceremonies and internal knowledge-sharing events like Idea Talks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development with Ruby.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Front-end skills: HTML, CSS, TS, Vue.js or React.
• Experience with RSpec and Cucumber testing.
• English B2+ for client communication.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Growth mindset and keeping up with Ruby trends.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to scalable, production-ready code.
• Participate in full SDLC and feature implementation.
• Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies and knowledge-sharing events.
• Assist in project estimation and planning.
• Conduct code reviews and write automated tests.
• Keep the tech stack up to date with CI practices.
• Optionally mentor peers and contribute to dev meetups.

Salary: from 8000 PLN gross Hybrid Full-time Lodz, Poland (157a Piotrkowska St, 90-440)

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development of scalable solutions with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, production-ready code
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including business logic and feature implementation
• Collaborate with your team through demo sessions, Scrum ceremonies, and internal knowledge-sharing events like Idea Talks
• Support project estimation and planning to align development efforts with business goals
• Conduct code reviews and write automated tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability
• Work on continuous technology integration to keep the product and stack up to date
• Optionally, engage in mentoring, technical interviews, or share your knowledge during internal or external dev meetups

What you bring

• At least 3 year of hands-on experience in software development with Ruby
• Solid understanding of databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Vue.js or React
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec and Cucumber
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with experience in communicating with English-speaking clients
• Strong experience with AI tools for agentic development
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP will be a plus
• A growth mindset and a passion for staying up to date with Ruby and industry best practices
