Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a .NET Developer (C#) to support integration of an external portfolio management tool into the Investment Bank Equities platform. You will work with senior developers and business teams on front-office technology initiatives.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining integration solutions between trading and investment platforms and external banking systems, involving REST APIs, data exchange, and ORM frameworks. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional .NET/C# experience in commercial apps.
• Degree in IT, CS or related field.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, clean code.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle preferred).
• English fluency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET/C# components for integration with portfolio tool.
• Design and support backend integration between trading and investment platforms.
• Implement ETL and data delivery using REST APIs, files, Oracle SQL, and ORMs.
• Support data exchange and system interoperability workflows.
• Troubleshoot production integration issues and incidents.

We are looking for a .NET Developer (C#) to support the integration of an external portfolio management tool into the existing Investment Bank Equities platform. You will work closely with senior developers and business teams, gaining exposure to Equities and Funds Trading while contributing to a front-office technology initiative.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining integration solutions between investment and trading platforms and external banking systems, supporting data exchange, operational workflows, and front-office processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust C#/.NET components supporting integration with a third-party portfolio management tool.
• Design, develop, and support backend integration solutions connecting trading and investment platforms with external banking and financial systems.
• Implement data extraction, transformation, and delivery processes using REST/HTTP APIs, file-based interfaces, Oracle SQL, and ORM frameworks.
• Support backend integration workflows involving data exchange, REST APIs, and system interoperability.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production integration issues, data availability problems, and system incidents.
• Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to understand platform requirements and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and deployment processes.
• Support migration and transformation initiatives involving trading and market data sources.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Occasional opportunity to contribute to front-end features or trader-facing desktop applications (if possessing the relevant "nice to have" skills).

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in .NET/C# development in commercial applications (Mandatory).
• Higher education degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Mandatory).
• Good understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend integration.
• Experience designing and supporting system-to-system integrations and data exchange processes.
• Practical experience with SQL databases (Oracle preferred).
• Familiarity with enterprise systems or larger application environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience investigating and resolving production issues.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Practical experience or familiarity with Angular (version 8+ preferred).
• Previous exposure to or working knowledge of C++ and/or Java.
• Experience in financial services, investment banking, Equities, Funds, or Trading systems.
• Experience with WPF desktop applications.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as NHibernate.
