Job summary

Zoolatech seeks an experienced software engineer to own end-to-end delivery in AWS and Kubernetes environments, building scalable microservices and secure cloud-native apps. You will design REST APIs, implement CI/CD with Terraform, and champion best DevOps practices across development, test, and production.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, observability, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Excellent English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong Kafka and event-driven architecture experience.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, AuroraDB, Redis, DynamoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
• Performance testing and tuning experience using JMeter or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and production support skills.
• Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, cloud security, and operational excellence principles.
• B2+ written and spoken English.
