Job summary

Activision in Warsaw and Malmo is seeking a Mid/Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Engine & Tools team. You will help maintain, profile, and optimize rendering systems across PC and consoles, and collaborate on new rendering solutions for open worlds.

You will partner with art teams to deliver visually compelling, high-performing experiences, contribute to PBR and ray tracing work, and share knowledge through documentation or talks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated industry experience in game development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and graphics programming.
• Professional knowledge of GPU/CPU architecture.
• Experience with multithreaded programming.
• Solid experience with at least one low-level graphics API.
• Practical experience with low-level profiling and optimization.
• Familiarity with physically based rendering (PBR).
• Familiarity with ray tracing.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to take ownership of work.
