Job summary

Harvey Nash Poland is seeking a Threat Intelligence/Threat Hunting Specialist in Warsaw for a hybrid role, with an initial 3 months of remote onboarding and then 2 days per week in the office. You will conduct proactive threat hunting, analyze security events, perform incident response support, and deliver clear reports and risk assessments using SIEM and EDR platforms.

Warsaw, 3 months of remote onboarding 14:00-22:00 CET, after this 2 days per week in the office 9:00-17:00 CET.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting and security investigations across endpoint, identity, cloud, and network environments.
• Analyze security events, identify potential threats, and support incident response activities.
• Research adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and assess emerging cyber threats.
• Identify security exposures, attack paths, and misconfigurations, helping prioritize remediation efforts.
• Translate investigation findings into actionable recommendations to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Partner with Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders during investigations.
• Produce clear technical reports, investigation summaries, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security monitoring, threat detection, and response processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, or Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, log analytics, and EDR platforms.
• Strong understanding of attacker behavior, intrusion techniques, and cyber threat analysis.
• Experience with vulnerability management, exposure management, or attack path analysis.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and modern threat landscapes.
• Strong analytical thinking, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital forensics or malware analysis.
• Security certifications such as GIAC, OSCP, CRTO, CRTP, GCFA, or similar.
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments.
