Job summary

Intertek Italia is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst - Defender XDR Specialist to join its Global Cyber Security team in Warsaw. You will act as SME for Defender XDR technologies, support security operations and incident response, and mentor colleagues while driving adoption of Microsoft security solutions across the organization.

You will investigate incidents across endpoints, identities, email, servers and cloud, conduct proactive threat hunting with KQL, and develop detections, playbooks, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR technologies and Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Proficiency in KQL query development and security event analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst - Defender XDR Specialist to join our Global Cyber Security team.

In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Defender XDR technologies, supporting security operations, incident response, threat hunting activities, and the continuous improvement of our cyber security capabilities. You will also play a key role in mentoring colleagues and driving the adoption of Microsoft security solutions across the organization.
