Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is offering a 11-week internship focused on merchandising, space planning, and store execution. You will learn from leaders in a Fortune 400 company, with structured training, cross-functional exposure, and an end-of-program project presentation.

Responsibilities include creating planograms, collaborating with Merchants & Allocation, and presenting productivity findings. Housing is provided for non-local interns, with travel stipends for locals, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize initial assortment plans to create planograms and game plans.
• Produce directives for in-store implementation of plans.
• Collaborate with Allocation to ensure proper inventories.
• Analyze SKU productivity and advise on space efficiency.
• Identify gaps in assortment and advise merchants.
• Participate in weekly Merchant Business Review meetings.
• Coordinate store setup of product sections and layouts.
• Ensure product and collateral availability for floor sets.
