Job summary

Arup seeks an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator in Poland or Germany to drive BIM-based integration of design and construction for major projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop accurate BIM models and construct detailed documentation.

Key focus areas include BIM quality, parametric design, scripting, and data-driven workflows. You’ll mentor junior staff and help shape efficient project delivery across international assignments.

Qualifications

• A completed higher professional education or university degree in civil engineering with building services.
• Revit building services engineering expert.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a building services BIM modeller, from conceptual design through to specifications and construction.

Responsibilities

• Utilise BIM to integrate design and construction processes across projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate BIM models.
• Develop and maintain BIM models, coordinate across disciplines, and produce construction documentation.
• Promote BIM best practices, ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.

As An MEP BIM Coordinator At Arup, You Will

• Utilise Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies to facilitate the effective integration of design and construction processes across a variety of projects.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain accurate, high-quality BIM models, coordinate across disciplines, and produce detailed construction documentation to support project execution.
• Promote best practices in BIM, ensuring model integrity, data accuracy, and adherence to project specifications, while contributing to the continuous enhancement of BIM workflows.
• Leverage advanced modelling techniques, such as parametric design supported by scripting and coding, and overseeing the development of digital workflows that connect models and information flows across multiple service disciplines.
• Supervise junior team members and assist in establishing efficient processes for project delivery.

We're looking for someone who is identify with our vision and are keen to work in an international environment on Arup’s many, often iconic, projects. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:

• A completed higher professional education or university degree (e.g. civil engineering with a specialisation in building services engineering).
• Revit building services engineering expert.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a building services BIM modeller, from conceptual design through to specifications and construction.

We Also Value

• Experience with ‘BIM quality assurance’ tools such as Solibri and/or Navisworks.
• Experience with Dynamo.
• An affinity for parametric design and a bidirectional link between BIM and analytical software.
• Communication skills in German or Poland (based on location).
