Job summary

Signify is seeking a Development Engineer Mechanics Intern to join our R&D team in Ketrzyn, Poland. You will assist at all stages of new product development, from requirements through prototyping and testing, while gaining hands-on experience in design and documentation using SolidEdge.

You will work 20–25 hours weekly, combining learning with meaningful projects and the potential for conversion into a full-time role within a global leader in lighting and innovative technologies.

Qualifications

Fresh graduate or currently studying mechanical engineering.
Available to work 20–25 hours per week.
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Support the R&D team at all stages of new product development, from requirements to prototyping and testing.
Create 3D designs and 2D documentation in CAD environment (SolidEdge).
Build prototypes and samples for testing.
Learn organization, product portfolio, and architecture.
Learn and apply development process tools and methodologies.
