Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in Poland is seeking a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to support the construction of a 560MW CCGT power plant in Turek. You will lead QA/QC activities on mechanical systems, ensure compliance with ASME BPVC and BS-EN standards, and coordinate with construction teams to solve quality issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical QA/QC in Power Plants or Oil & Gas.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and comply with the project HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Quality Manager and construction team for quality issues.
• Issue and track Inspection Requests (IRF) and ensure inspections per ITP scope.
• Manage QA/QC documentation, non-conformities, and quality records.
• Inspect materials/equipment on receipt and monitor storage/handling.
