Job summary

KTI Poland S.A. in Płock is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical activities across basic and detailed design phases, coordinating with clients and suppliers and supporting multi‑disciplinary project teams.

The role focuses on preparing and supervising design documentation, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with other departments on proposal and project development within the MAIRE Group.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in design for refinery, petrochemical, chemical and/or energy sectors.
• Good command of English.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D).
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise mechanical documentation during basic design stage.
• Prepare and verify documentation for detailed design.
• Coordinate technical clarifications with the Client and provide guidance to equipment and machinery vendors.
• Collaborate with other engineering departments during proposal and project development.
• Interface with inspectors from notified bodies and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Support internal reviews, technical assessments, and quality checks for mechanical deliverables.
