Job summary

SMA Magnetics Sp. z o.o. in Modlniczka, near Krakow, Poland, seeks a mid-senior mechanical engineer to contribute to new product development and solve industrial problems. The role focuses on high-volume production with an interdisciplinary approach.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in mechanics development, with English communication skills (B2+). Experience with advanced CAD tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in designing mechanical components.
• Experience with Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of dimensioning incorporating GD&T.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Participation in development projects from feasibility to serial production.
• Prepare concepts and mechanical solutions for inverters and subcomponents.
• 3D modelling and creating technical drawings of mechanical parts.
• Prepare technical documentation and BOM for the production system.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across departments.
