Job summary

Arjo Italia S.p.A. in Poznań seeks a Mechanical Engineer to work on Foam Mattresses and VTE prevention. You will join the Product Development & Engineering team, owning design from concept to validation and supporting product lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor in mechanical engineering, English at B2, Polish fluency, CAD with SolidWorks, and hands-on testing. You will collaborate with customers and suppliers, have flexible hours, occasional remote work, and a yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• English at least B2 (written and spoken).
• Fluency in Polish.
• Experience with technical documentation and testing.
• Ability to design in 3D environment, SolidWorks (preferred) and CAD tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Good communication, proactive attitude and teamwork.
• Nice to have experience in similar roles; knowledge of textiles.

Responsibilities

• Secure production continuity by solving production challenges and managing obsolescence and lifecycle updates.
• Develop, test, and document product designs using CAD tools and bench testing.
• Participate in research and creation of new products.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop improvements to mechanical components and systems for performance, quality, cost and value.
• Create, plan, execute and document tests to verify quality and compliance of the design.
• Perform analyses of change requests, trouble reports, CAPAs, and customer claims.
• Independently plan, organize, and execute assigned engineering activities from concept to implementation.
• Plan and organize work autonomously; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
