Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Charging Power and Transfer to join our plant in Poland, Kąty Wrocławskie. You will design product structures, create 2D/3D drawings, and support manufacturability with SolidWorks.

You will interface with Systems Engineering, Production, and Methods teams to accelerate solutions, forecast issues, and contribute to design for manufacture and cost reduction. We value hands-on design experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to travel to global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in new product development and design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Experience with ERP, Teamcenter, NX, SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Hands-on product design and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical product design and 2D/3D drawings, preferably SolidWorks.
• Develop components for optimization and manufacturability; perform tolerance analysis.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering, Production, and Methods teams.
