Job summary

DWU ENGINEERING POLSKA, part of the Danieli group, is seeking an engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for industrial lines. The team in Kraków, Wrocław and Katowice collaborates on mechanics, piping, and automation.

The role focuses on delivering designs that meet time, cost and quality targets, performing calculations, and validating drawings while adapting to evolving project requirements. Strong technical and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, machine design, material strength and physics
• Ability to read and decipher technical documentation and drawings
• Familiarity with GD&T specifications and 2D/3D design tools
• Proficiency with 2D & 3D environment (AutoCAD and Inventor) and MS Office
• Good written and spoken English
• 1+ years of engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Develop technological areas and machines according to contract and company standards
• Perform design calculations and validate engineering designs and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Create layouts and concepts for projects
• Standardize, improve and benchmark processes and machines
• Microplanning and validation of assigned tasks and projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned

DWU ENGINEERING POLSKA is a company operating in the mechanical engineering industry. For a quarter of a century, it has been implementing machine projects for industrial lines in the steel, aluminum, and copper industries.

We are part of Danieli group, a global leader in the design and manufacture of equipment for heavy industry.

In our three offices in Poland, located in Wrocław, Kraków, and Katowice, we employ nearly one hundred people who design mechanics, piping systems, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the technological areas and machines assigned according to the contract and the last Company standards - in respect of time, cost and quality
• Perform design calculations and validate engineering designs and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Elaboration of layouts and concepts
• Standardization, improvement/innovation and benchmark of processes and machines
• Microplanning and validation of assigned tasks / projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Technical Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) in a relevant engineering discipline
• (preferred Mechanical Engineering)
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, machine design, material strength, physics
• Capacity to create and decipher technical documentation
• Familiarity with technical drawing and dimensioning principles
• Good understanding of GD&T specifications
• Proficiency with 2D & 3D environment (in particular AUTOCAD and INVENTOR)
• Familiarity with MS Office
• Good skills in English (both written and spoken)
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience
