Job summary

Sidel Group is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the engineering team in the technical mechanical department, focusing on machine design, CAD work, and production support for packaging lines. Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (BE/BTech).
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical industries.
• Experience with liquid packaging machinery or special purpose machines advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for onsite training (project dependent).
• Knowledge of hygienic design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design Sidel machines in conformity with specifications and timelines.
• Create CAD designs for production and BOMs for projects.
• Follow up all project activities to meet delivery dates.
• Implementation and tracking of reference files; reports as required.
• Collaborate across teams; manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with sanitary standards for industries like food/pharma.
