Role Overview

Master Data is a vital enterprise asset enabling both online and offline commerce across our end-to-end supply chain. As a Master Data Specialist, you will act as the functional guardian and change driver for our European operations.

In this role, you will lead the deployment and standardization of Master Data processes across Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging, Customers, and Vendors. You will partner cross-functionally across multiple business units and manufacturing sites, ensuring seamless project delivery, process compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Own and deliver small-to-medium Master Data projects and business change initiatives across European business units.
  • Process Governance & Standardization: Deploy Master Data standards across European sites by conducting Business Process Assessments (BPAT) and eliminating non-foundational processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers, Functional Analysts, and Key Users to ensure seamless project execution, alignment, and data consistency.
  • Community Development: Collaborate with Master Data Stewards to support, mentor, and develop the regional Key User community.
  • Capability Building & Training: Create, implement, and deliver user qualification frameworks and functional training programs for site teams.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain, govern, and audit functional Master Data process documentation and support system transaction standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) requests and propose standard enhancements to the Data Manager where business value is identified.
  • Technical SLA & Support Management: Collaborate effectively with IT support teams to ensure rapid resolution of technical issues within defined SLAs and sustain platform stability.
  • Master Data Domain Expertise: In-depth operational knowledge across core enterprise Master Data objects, including Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging, Vendors, and Customers.
  • Process Governance & Compliance: Proven track record in conducting process audits and assessments (e.g., BPAT), identifying operational gaps, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Project & Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead functional change initiatives, manage workstreams, and coordinate cross-functional project deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Enablement & Coaching: Strong interpersonal capability to train, mentor, and qualify Key Users across diverse European operational environments.
  • Technical & Functional Problem-Solving: Ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions, collaborating with IT teams to troubleshoot system transactions and maintain performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Technical college degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands‑on operational Master Data experience within supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics environments (approximately 5 years of overall business experience).
  • Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to travel to European manufacturing facilities and commercial markets as project requirements dictate.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
  • Working Style: High degree of self‑direction and autonomy in a remote/hybrid team setting, combined with strong adaptability in multi‑cultural environments.
