Mars in Warsaw is seeking a Sourcing Excellence Specialist to lead negotiations, contracting, and sourcing across Mars segments. You will drive category strategies and support Category Teams in regional priorities in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires strong negotiation and supplier management skills, fluent English, and a collaborative mindset. A bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3+ years in procurement are preferred.

• 3+ years of procurement experience including contracting in services
• Fluent English; Polish is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply, procurement, or related field

This role is responsible for leading negotiations, contracting, and sourcing activities across Mars segments and cross-regional spend within defined commercial categories. By driving sourcing initiatives aligned with category strategies, the role enables Category Teams to focus on strategic priorities while driving efficiency and business impact.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Negotiating on behalf of Mars organization.
• Contracting to be aligned to category strategies managed by Commercial team.
• Providing the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business.
• Conducting negotiations and supplier relationship management for in scope of Commercial categories and spend thresholds for requisitions.
• Securing price, capacity & service levels in line with commitments to the business.
• Ensuring effective risk management of the supply base, through robust contracts and monitoring of financial and other KPIs. Implements corrective actions as appropriate.
• Establishing & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge.
• Ensuring Compliance with policies, systems, and controls.
• Communicating business risk & opportunity.
• Providing support to Buyers & requisitioners, other departments and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and Commercial leaders on regional level on defining business requirements.
• Providing insights to category team regarding supplier performance and opportunities within ad hoc purchasing trends.
• Identifying system process Improvements with systems and process for FE assessment.

• Ideally tech savvy, with a strong desire to learn.
• Must be a team player who executes with a sense of urgency.
• Fluent English is essential; Polish is a nice to have.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply, procurement, or related field is a plus
• 3+ years of procurement experience including previous contracting experience in general services category is nice to have.
