Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manager, Master Data Governance to lead Local Data Stewards and drive MDM operations across regions. You will manage projects, support commercial goals, and ensure data integrity and governance across SAP environments.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of global MDM experience, strong SAP MDG and Material Master expertise, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced medical devices setting.

Qualifications

5-7 years of Master Data Management experience in a global environment.
Deep SAP Master Data and Material Master expertise.
Experience leading teams or projects.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules MM, SD, FI, QM.

Responsibilities

Provide operational management of Local Data Stewards in the region.
Perform and manage MDM daily operations, and projects across the Alcon division for all Franchises and region.
Lead one or more concurrent major projects affecting multiple Divisions, Franchises and Regions addressing internal and external customer needs to support commercial goals
Help to achieve department budget within agreed-upon targets
Responsible for personal talent development of LDS in the region
Maintain and enhance compliance with Group, internal, and external controls
