Job summary

DLA Piper's Master Data team in the GSC supports multiple business units and locations, working with all finance GSC teams to meet SLAs and customer expectations. The role involves maintaining Master Data processes, enhancing data quality, and driving improvements across the function.

The position includes mentoring junior analysts, handling supplier data updates, and preparing monthly reports, in a multinational, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in finance, preferably in billing within shared services or BPO.
• University degree (preferable in accounting) or students/graduates able to work full time.
• Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in an international, diversified professional environment.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and control framework.
• Problem solving, priority setting, planning, delegation and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong knowledge of Master Data processes and act as a subject-matter resource for the team.
• Lead and support the full process of supplier creation and updates.
• Ensure the accurate creation and maintenance of supplier profiles.
• Contact suppliers via email and phone to verify bank details and resolve complex issues.
• Update financial system data per company policies, ensuring high data quality.
• Create, update and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation across Master Data.
• Handle complex customer requests and queries with advanced issue resolution.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers, acting as an escalation point.
• Mentor and support Junior and Mid-level Analysts in their development.
• Prepare monthly reports for Referrals Origination and Data Management scopes.
