System Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Market Risk Analyst to join our risk team in Poland. You will explain daily P&L results and identify market drivers such as curve and price changes, volatility, basis effects, new business and model impacts.

You will monitor risk metrics (sensitivities/Greeks, VaR, stress tests, scenario analyses), escalate deviations, and help review and improve risk processes. You’ll collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Mid Office and Finance to ensure

• Lead daily P&L explain, breaking down results into key market drivers such as curve and price changes, volatility, basis effects, new business, and model impacts.
• Monitor and validate market risk metrics, including sensitivities/Greeks, VaR, stress tests, and scenario analyses, escalating deviations where needed.
• Contribute to early-warning analyses by identifying potential emerging risks and sharing observations with senior team members and stakeholders.
• Help review and improve existing risk processes - including P&L explain, reserves, limit monitoring, and exception handling - by spotting gaps and suggesting practical enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Operations, Mid Office, ETRM/Back Office, Quant/Modeling, and Finance to resolve issues and support high-quality risk data flows.
• Translate risk drivers into clear, actionable insights for colleagues across the business

What you bring & who you are:

• A degree in finance, economics, engineering, math, or a related field


• 2-4 years of experience in market risk, energy/commodities, or financial services


• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to identify data or model inconsistencies and contribute to root-cause analysis


• Comfortable working with quantitative concepts and risk metrics, with a willingness to keep developing your technical skills


• Strong communicator who can explain analyses and risk effects clearly and concisely


• Strong ownership mentality combined with a proactive, curious, and ambitious approach to work


• Fluency in Polish and English; ideally, professional certifications such as CFA/FRM or progress toward them
