Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is hiring for a Financial Risk Specialist II. You will oversee global financial risk activities within the bank, coordinate in-depth analyses, and support capital risk appetite and limit setting across jurisdictions.

You will provide guidance to Senior Management and stakeholders on Market Risk capital frameworks for banking and trading books, acting as a centre of expertise for regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Finance or related field.
• Fluent in English with strong presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Economic Capital and IRRBB is a plus.

ING Hubs Poland is hiring! The expected salary for this position: 7100 - 14 500 PLN gross. The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.

We are looking for you, if you: have experience in the financial sector or demonstrate a strong interest and potential to build your career in banking and risk management, have completed a degree in Economics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, are fluent in English, knowledge of Economic Capital and IRRBB would be considered a strong asset, are comfortable preparing presentations and explaining complex topics in a clear and transparent manner.

Your responsibilities:

global oversight of Financial Risks within the Bank, coordinate, challenge & perform in-depth financial risk analyses and assessments, support and improve the Capital Risk Appetite and limit setting, allocation and monitoring, provide guidance and advise to Senior Management and all stakeholders on Market Risk capital, be the centre of expertise for the Market Risk Capital Frameworks for the Banking Books, be in the lead for different global financial risk related projects, follow, interpret and execute developments / requirements by regulators in the fields of Market Risk Capital for the banking book.

Information about the squad: The Financial Risk (FR) department is a head office function that sets and control financial risk strategy across the organization. The department provides strategic guidance on financial risk (market risk and liquidity risk for the balance sheet), safeguards regulatory compliance and is the model owner for market risks in both banking and trading books. Market Risk Capital & Analyses team is the model owner responsible for the Market Risk Economic Capital models and Market Risk Regulatory Capital models of ING. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Financial Risk Specialist II”.
