Responsibilities
  • Lead daily P&L explanation and translate results into key market drivers.
  • Monitor and validate market risk metrics such as sensitivities, VaR, stress tests, and scenarios.
  • Identify emerging risks and support early‑warning analyses.
  • Improve risk processes and controls by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Mid Office, ETRM/Back Office, Quant/Modelling, and Finance to ensure high‑quality data and issue resolution.
  • Support pricing, hedging, and portfolio decisions with clear risk insights.
Requirements
  • Degree in finance, economics, engineering, math, or related field; CFA/FRM a plus.
  • 2‑4 years of experience in market risk, energy/commodities, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with quantitative concepts and risk metrics.
  • Structured thinking, ownership, and continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • Reliable execution and strong communication skills.
  • Curiosity, problem‑solving ability, resilience, and integrity.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
