What you’ll be doing

• Manual testing of web-based products (UI and API)
• Preparing test data and documentation, making sure everything is kept up to date
• Performing testing activities including requirements analysis, test planning, test-case preparation, test execution and test-closure activities
• Working closely with the Development and Product teams throughout the entire life cycle of product releases
• Extending and improving automation tests

What we expect from you

• Essential
• At least two years’ experience as a manual QA Engineer
• Solid understanding of QA best practices and methodologies
• Deep awareness and demonstrable experience of functional testing
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web-based applications
• Experience of API testing (understanding of REST API concept)
• The ability to build and maintain test documentation
• Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• The ability to juggle a number of things at once and deliver to tight deadlines
• A proactive attitude towards solving problems
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Bags of passion and drive, and a genuine desire to make things bigger and better
• A positive, team-playing attitude – things only work when we all come together

• Desirable
• Experience in test automation
• Knowledge of programming language – TypeScript would be ideal
• An understanding of web automation tools such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, and API testing tools such as Postman
• Experience using CI/CD tools (preferably Jenkins)
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Experience with modern HTML/CSS and TypeScript – this would be a significant advantage
• Knowledge of digital image processing
