Role Overview

The Production Manager is responsible for organizing and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the entire manufacturing process. This role ensures that production plans are executed on time while maintaining required quality standards, workplace safety, and cost optimization. The Production Manager coordinates and supervises production teams, schedules processes, ensures continuity of material supply, monitors production line performance, identifies problems, and implements improvements in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize workstations in accordance with health & safety and fire protection regulations
  • Plan, organize, and control production processes, ensuring timely execution of production plans
  • Lead and manage production teams, motivate employees, and oversee competency development
  • Optimize the use of human and material resources while minimizing downtime
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels within the production area
  • Supervise and ensure proper use and technical condition of machinery, equipment, and tools
  • Ensure continuous supply of materials and components to production lines
  • Analyze production performance, costs, and quality; implement improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Prepare production reports and maintain production documentation
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications
  • Implement and maintain production procedures, standards, and work instructions
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Quality Control to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with Production Planning to maintain process continuity
  • Coordinate with Warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow
  • Cooperate with external partners for maintenance, servicing, and repairs of machinery and infrastructure
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and employee development processes
  • Cooperate with all departments to optimize costs, timelines, and workplace safety
Key Accountabilities
  • Timely execution of production plans
  • Maintaining and improving production standards and procedures
  • Efficient material management to minimize production costs
  • Compliance with technical documentation and production requirements
  • Achieving target team productivity levels
  • Accurate production reporting and KPI tracking
Authority
  • Authority to stop production in case of safety risks, non-compliance with technology, or quality issues
  • Authority to stop production due to defective materials or equipment failure
  • Authority to suspend operations during audits or inspections if critical issues are identified
  • Authority to remove employees from workstations in case of safety threats
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Understanding of production planning and process optimization
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level
