Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals responsible for inventory-related technical accounting activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities, including review and approval of complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and inventory accounting transactions.
  • Oversee key inventory accounting areas, including goods received not invoiced, goods in transit, excess and obsolete inventory, costing, inventory reserves, and inventory-related assets.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and shared service teams to support financial reporting and timely book closure for a large and complex business entity.
  • Apply and monitor compliance with corporate accounting policies and US GAAP requirements across inventory accounting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits, including inventory-related control testing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, system enhancements, and transition projects to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory accounting inquiries and provide guidance on technical accounting matters to business stakeholders.

  • Poland: zł232.300 - zł387.100 PLN Annual
