Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. zo. o. in Jawor seeks a Maintenance Engineer for Conveyor Technology Assembly Shop to inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, and to develop maintenance processes using SAP-I-Pro.

You will lead a team of electrical and automation technicians, coordinate fault diagnostics, and ensure equipment readiness for production and logistics, with a willingness to travel abroad when needed.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education: MSc or Bachelor in Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical or industrial Engineering.
• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Assembly shop technologies such as Tightening, Electronic Controlled Tools, Gluing, Filling equipment, Dynamic Vehicle Testing Equipment, Wheel Alignment Equipment, VehicleElectronic Checking Systems.
• Knowledge of automotive environment including experience with Automation, Robots, PLC, Computer control systems.
• Very good organization of working time, commitment, diligence, reliability.
• Readiness to travel abroad.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance on conveyor technology and supervise a team of up to ten technicians.
• Perform on-site inspections, maintenance and repairs to sorter systems.
• Develop technological strategies and maintenance processes using SAP-I-Pro.
• Prepare and follow up maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure uptime.

Maintenance Engineer for Conveyor Technology Assembly Shop Group : Mercedes-Benz Group AG

Description

As part of the Assembly shop team, you will be responsible for Conveyor- technology out mechanical and electronic inspections, maintenance and repairs to sorter systems in our production and logistics areas as part of high-performance industrial Assembly shop production systems.

This includes the development of technological strategies and maintenance processes (SAP- I-Pro- System) of conveyor systems such as Scissor-lifts, Roller beds, Main lifter, Cross- conveyor, and specific Assembly requirements such as the HEMS/ LEMS- Carrier, handlings devises, or the ring conveyor and AGV specifies.

As well as various production centers as well as the preparation and follow-up of operations and cooperation in the preparation of maintenance reports.

You will support operational maintenance on site e.g., as an expert in the event of technical breakdowns, lead a team of up to ten employees during maintenance assignments/trouble shooting, and be pragmatic and solution oriented. The team consists of electrical and automation technicians.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in a similar position.
